Abstract
We examined the effect of LAK cells and Interleukin-2 in humans with hepatoma unresponsive to other treatments. there were three primary hepatomas and two metastatic hepatomas Among these patients, there were one complete remission which was
primary
hepatoma and one partial response which was metastatic hepatoma. Celluiar cytotoxicity was measured by four hour Chromium release assay. LAK cell activity in the patient with hepatoma increased markedly after initiation of immunotherapy, but
natural
kill cell acitvity was not changed during therapy. Hepatoma can be a good candidate for immunotherapy.
